Alasdair James joined Bynes in 2000 and soon moved up the ranks to become a partner in 2001. He specialises essentially in crime, but also deals with family & matrimonial matters.

He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1983 with an LLB (Hons) in Law, before going on to sit his Solicitors’ Finals at the Guildford College of Law in 1985. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a solicitor in Exmouth and Exeter. He is a member of the Duty Solicitors Rota.

Alasdair’s home town is Folkestone in Kent.
