Michael Hayman

Michael Hayman is the firm’s Litigation Partner and has worked at Bynes since 1984. He does an increasing amount of non-contentious work (mainly company and commercial), as well as some particulary complicated child care cases. He also supervises work in the Personal Injury Department. In addition, he has good experience in insolvency, taxi & private hire licensing and maritime.

Formerly an RAF officer, Michael has worked in the legal profession since 1978. He took his CPE examinations at Bristol in 1980 and graduated from the University of Leicester with an LLM (Hons) in 1996. He is a member of the Duty Solicitors Rota for Torquay.

Michael comes from Dartmouth; he enjoys sailing and is enthusiastic about building and flying aircraft.
